Shabbat Study: Timing the Seventh Day

Section 5 of 21

Section 05

This can be likened to the time that we (Yasharal) live in right now since the time of Yahushaya.....Yasharal is being renewed by the transforming of our minds; we are going through a period of two thousand years of renewal (remember the "day as a thousand year" principle) and the evidence of that renewal will take place on the 7th khadash (first sliver) at Yawam Tharuayah (Day of Blowing of trumpets), and Yasharal will realize the evidence of our being renewed when we will receive our new bodies at the "last trump," upon the signal of the visible khadash (first sliver)......We are being renewed, yet the manifestation of that renewal will not take place until the last trump.

In summary, the word "khadash" (as it relates to the yarakh/moon) literally refers to the renewal of the light of the yarakh, and depending upon scriptural context can refer to, 1) the actual time of the light of the yarakh being renewed (2-3 non-visible or "dark" days), 2) the visible manifestation of that renewal being completed ("first sliver" or "new moon") or 3) the period of time (29 or 30 days) between two subsequent "first slivers" and is referred to as "khadashim" or "months".

For example, when scripture refers to the "15th day of the khadash", it is referring to the 15th day of that 29 or 30 day "calendar" period, or literally the 15th day from the completion of the renewal of the yarakh (as evidenced by the light of the first sliver). It cannot refer to the 15th day from when the two or three day renewal starts because scripture states that the visible luminary in the sky (the yarakh) is how we reckon His muaydim (appointed times). It can be different to what we are used to at first (our inherited traditions), but we are examining scripturally a way of reckoning of time that is not based upon a traditional calendar that is put on a piece of paper, but upon a visible luminary in the firmament of the heavens, placed there for a purpose by our Almighty Creator, Yahwah. Let's look at another scripture that witnesses the fact that it is the light of the yarakh that was created, or exists, for the appointed times (reckoning the muaydim)......

Mazmawarath (Psalms) 104:19

19 He (Yahwah) made (Heb. "ayshah" - "to make") the moon (Heb. "yarakh") for seasons (Heb. "Muaydim" - "appointed times")........

Properly, "appointed times," not "seasons". The psalmist states it quite plainly here.......if we believe that He is speaking as an inspired witness to the thurah, then He (Yahwah) made the yarakh for the muaydim (Yahwah's appointed times). It is the yarakh which is the visible luminary in the sky that has been made, or exists for the muaydim....the appointed times. It's not the stars or the sun.

(Scriptural authority/witness #2 for the yarakh reckoning the muaydim of Yahwah)

Along with that scripture, we will look at a companion scripture:
