Section 17 of 21

of the children of Yasharal. Speak to them, saying, 'At twilight (in the evening) you shall eat meat, and in the morning (day sixteen of the khadash) you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am Yahwah your Almighty.' 13 So it was that quails came up in the evening and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp. 14 And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as frost on the ground. 15 So when the children of Yasharal saw it, they said to one another, 'What is it?' (Heb. "man" - "what it") for they did not know what it was. And Mashah said to them, 'This is the bread which Yahwah has given you to eat. 16 This is the thing which Yahwah has commanded: 'Let every man gather it according to each one's need, one aymar (omer) for each person, according to the number of persons; let every man take for those who are in His tent.' 17 And the children of Yasharal did so and gathered, some more, some less. 18 So when they measured it by aymar, he who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack. Every man had gathered according to each one's need. 19 And Mashah said, 'Let no one leave of it till morning.' 20 Notwithstanding, they did not heed Mashah, but some of them left part of it until morning, and it bred worms and stank. And Mashah was angry with them. 21 So they gathered it every morning, every man according to His need. And when the sun became hot, it melted. 22 And so it was, on the sixth day (of the third shabay/week of the second khadash/month - the twentieth day of that khadash), that they gathered twice as much bread, two aymar for each one. And all the esteemed ones of the congregation came and told Mashah. 23 Then He said to them, 'This is what Yahwah has said: 'Tomorrow (the twenty-first day of the khadash) a Shabath rest, a set apart Shabath to Yahwah. Bake what you will bake, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until the morning.' 24 So they laid it up until the morning as Mashah had commanded, and it did not stink nor were there any worms in it. Then Mashah said, 'Eat that today, for today a Shabath to Yahwah. Today you will not find it in the field. Six days ye shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the Shabath, there will be none."

Yasharal in the foregoing account has been instructed in a "real time application" on the third shabay (week) of/from the second khadash upon coming out of Matsarim, on how to trust Yahwah throughout that shabay for His provision and to trust that they would have provision for the set apart time of rest at the end of that shabay...........the Shabath.

But did they pass the test during that third shabay (week) of the khadash (month)?

Verse 27. "Now it happened some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none and Yahwah said to Mashah, How long do you refuse to hedge about my commandments and my thurah?"

They did not.......Yahwah is now going to give some additional instructions for the fourth, and final shabay of the second khadash, that He had not given for the previous shabay (week three of the month - days fifteen thru twenty-one).....Verse 29,
